Up to $2.5 billion is available to improve energy efficiency in schools through Prop. 39. Funding is already earmarked for every local educational agency in California.

Who Is Eligible?
California local educational agencies including public school districts (K-12), charter schools, state special schools and county offices of education.
Eligible energy projects include, but are not limited to, the following energy measures:
- New lighting and lighting control systems.
- Replacement heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning (HVAC) systems and controls.
- Solar PV
- Energy-efficient windows
